In this edition of the Song Exploder podcast, The Frame contributor Hrishikesh Hirway adapts his episode with the band Clipping. The trio consists of producers William Hutson and Jonathan Snipes, who create the beats, and rapper Daveed Diggs, who writes and does vocals. Diggs’ voice may be familiar to anyone who’s heard or seen the Broadway musical “Hamilton.” He plays both Thomas Jefferson and the Marquis de Lafayette.

In this Song Exploder episode, the trio break down how they made the song, “Work Work," which also features guest vocals from the rapper Cocc Pistol Cree.
