We're listening to the big finale to the 1993 movie "Sister Act 2."
It stars Whoopi Goldberg leading a high school gospel choir filled with misfits.
And it turns out that this movie has been inspiring students in Japan -- none of whom have any experience with gospel music or English, for that matter -- to break out in song for audiences in Los Angeles.
Soloist Yue Terazawa with the Tokyo Mass Choir has been teaching Japanese students the art and inspiration of gospel since 1996.
Joining us now is the director of the Tokyo Mass Choir, Pastor Richard Hartley. He's also a musical consultant for Jikei International where he trains students in the art form of gospel.
And Rosylyn Rhee is a documentary filmmaker who'll be telling their story in the upcoming movie, "Supernatural." Welcome to you, too.
