Medical Marijuana growers in Northern California have too much pot on their hands.

Prices for medical marijuana have dropped in recent months, the number of farmers of medical marijuana have grown, and federal and state rules have forced hundreds of marijuana dispensaries to close. Too much supply, and not enough (legal) places to sell it.

Madeleine talks with Peter Hecht, senior writer for the Sacramento Bee.

Guest:

Peter Hecht, a senior writer for the Sacramento Bee. Hecht is currently working on a book about California's pot industry, titled "Weedland."
