Queen, led by charismatic front-man Freddie Mercury, was one of the best-selling rock bands of all time. From the Mid-70's to the 80's, the band toured the globe with massive rock concerts, and songs like "We Are The Champions" and "Bohemian Rhapsody" are still familiar to music fans today.

But front-man Freddie Mercury had his own journey, separate from the glamorous image of Queen. Born Farrokh Bulsara in Zanzibar to Indian parents, Mercury died in 1991 of AIDS, one of the first famous figures to be in the public eye with the disease. His story is told in a new biography called "Mercury: An Intimate Biogrphy of Freddie Mercury" by Lesley-Ann Jones.
