Gifts and christmas trees are pretty standard fare for the holidays, but many families have a tradition that’s more unique – and we want to hear yours.
Whether you’re Jewish and you go to a Chinese restaurant for Christmas, or you’re Chinese and you flip the script and get a pastrami on rye at a Jewish deli. Whether you have too many families members to get each a present and instead you do Secret Santa, or no presents at all. Or maybe you and your significant other come from different cultures and you have a unique way of blending customs. We want to hear your stories.
What gift giving (or regifting) system have you worked out to address your family’s specific situation? If you don’t celebrate any of the holidays, what do you like to do on your day off? What cultural traditions do you practice, or incorporate with other kinds of traditions?
