Without an official star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame to mourn at, fans of Carrie Fisher created a temporary one for her outside Grauman's Chinese Theatre.
The memorial will be allowed to stay for a few days, Ana Martinez, producer for the Walk of Fame, told TheWrap.
"We want the fans to have a place to mourn," Martinez told the website. She added that, though Fisher had never been nominated for a star, they are sometimes awarded posthumously, but only after the honoree has been dead for five years.
