Beer, bacon and books. It's all happening this weekend. Here's everything you need to know.

1. Beer-infused ice cream? Yes, please.

Start happy hour with a booze-flavored brain freeze Friday at Dale Bros Brewery in Upland. It's hosting a release party for Scoops on Tap — a new ice cream infused with the brewery's yummy craft beer. And good news for the under 21 crowd: This ice cream is non-alcoholic. Expect bacon brownie sundaes and beer floats. Flavors include black raspberry IPA sherbet and badlands coffee caramel baltic porter.

3. Saturday morning cartoons

Watch me, and get excited!

Remember the days when you would wake up early on a Saturday just to catch morning cartoons? Cinefamily is taking you back in time. The movie-loving non-profit will screen your favorite throwback cartoons — "Mighty Mouse," "Batman the Animated Series" and "The Mighty B" — alongside a cereal bar! Yum.

4. Pop-up sound baths

The dome

If you can weather the near-100 degree temps, it might be worth spending the day in Joshua Tree. Here's why: Located 20 miles outside of the park is the Integratron, which is basically a big white dome building in the middle of the desert. It's also been called a "rejuvenation machine." After being closed through the month of July, it's reopening this weekend with pop-up sound baths at sunset. If you're into crystal bowls, yoga and new age music and meditation, this one is for you! Pro tip: If it's booked this Saturday, it's happening through September.

When: 7 p.m. Saturday | Calendar here

Where: Integratron | MAP

Price: $35 per person on weekends | Book online | Call (760) 364-3126 for more details

Presented by KCRW and the Annenberg Foundation, visitors are encouraged to arrive early and check out Annenberg Space for Photography's new exhibit: "Emerging." You can bring a picnic or eat and drink at the food trucks and beer gardens. Hear The Frame's interview with De La Soul here.

When: Doors open at 5 p.m. and the music starts at 7 p.m.
