Suspicious fire guts store in LA fashion district

A suspicious fire has destroyed a clothing store in the Los Angeles fashion district.

Fire officials say the blaze started around 2 a.m. Saturday.

It started in a men's clothing store and sent flames shooting 30 feet through the roof. Firefighters had to cut through a metal security door to fight it.

It took 80 firefighters nearly an hour to douse the blaze.

The clothing store was gutted and two other businesses received smoke and water damage.

Investigators are calling the blaze suspicious.
