What is your experience as a senior in California?

California is getting older. By 2030, the state will add 4 million more seniors. It’s a demographic shift that will create new challenges and new opportunities. In Governor Gavin Newsom’s first State of the State address he called for a new Master Plan on Aging. “It must address: person-centered care, the patchwork of public services, social isolation, bed-locked seniors in need of transportation, the nursing shortage, and demand for In-Home Supportive Services that far outpaces its capacity.”

The California Dream collaboration is working on a series of stories about seniors in the state.  We want to know what issues you think elected officials should consider. And, more broadly, we want to understand your experience as a senior in California.
