Kelly Osbourne was taken to an L.A. hospital Thursday after collapsing on the set of "Fashion Police," the E! talk show she co-hosts with Joan Rivers, Giuliana Rancic and George Kotsiopoulos.

The Associated Press reports that the 28-year-old fainted, according to a spokeswoman for Osbourne. The TV personality is said to be awake, alert and in stable condition. Osbourne will be staying overnight at the hospital for observation as a precautionary measure. 

E! Online says that the cable star "suffered a medical emergency and an ambulance was called."  Earlier Thursday it was widely reported that the lavender-haired lady had suffered a seizure.

Ozzy's  typically tweeting family of Osbournes have been quiet on Twitter most of the day.  Jack Osbourne, Kelly's brother, was diagnosed last year with multiple sclerosis at age 26.
