"Film Week on AirTalk" will look at the best, worst, and funniest depictions of gay characters in American film

In light of Wednesday's court ruling in favor of same-sex marriage, we thought we'd look at gay characters and relationships in film to see which ones worked, and which ones were lame.

Most of my favorites were screen depictions of real people:  Capote, Gods & Monsters, and Milk.  However, I also liked Brokeback Mountain, My Own Private Idaho, and Quinceanera

My least favorites characterizations were from movies I otherwise liked:  Vanishing Point and Dirty Harry.

What are your most and least favorite?
