About 4,000 students at Robert F. Kennedy Community Schools and their families will be able to receive free health, vision and dental screenings as well as mammograms and glucose tests Saturday.
The "Spring RFK Community Health Festival," which will include festivities such as food, face painting, relay races and other games, is being put on as part of a partnership with UCLA and the nonprofit Korean Health, Education, Information & Research Center.
L.A. Unified's Robert F. Kennedy Community Schools is composed of six pilot schools located at the site of the former Ambassador Hotel in Koreatown.
The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 701 S. Catalina St., Los Angeles, CA 90005.
